Very nice and convenient.

Liked: The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The location was pretty central and convenient for me, one block from Hotel de Ville (metro station there).
Disliked: The decor was interesting but seemed dated. Not that I didn't like it but it was a little "over the top". Also I would have liked to have a sign to put on the door to opt out of service form the cleaning staff :) We got the breakfast each of our 3 mornings but while it was fine, it was exactly the same every day. Would have been nice to be offered some choices or mix it up a bit.

Recommended.

Liked: Really lovely old hotel with boatloads of personality and charm. Helpful staff.
Disliked: A bit pricier than we usually go for. Coffee quality at breakfast, and room coffee/tea setup could both be improved.

Disliked: Can be noisy as there are bars below that run til 2, be prepared.

Very overpriced for facilities but...

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: The bed felt flimsy and cheap. The mattress felt uneven and I didn’t like seeing the bare base. Bathroom very small. Couldn’t bend down easily in shower. Shower head needed a good clean.
