Liked: Location was amazing and the beds very comfortable.

Excellent Location, terrifying stairs, mediocre...

Liked: Excellent location in the Marais. Short walk to many restaurants and shops and sights. Comfy bed, but TINY room, excellent for one person but really cramped for two people (there were two twin beds pushed together). Breakfast was sparce, bare minimum and breakfast room is super tiny, with 4 tiny two person tables very close. Do not buy the breakfast here- there is a Pauls around the corner. Very nice front desk employees all speak good English.
Disliked: TERRIFYING steps and elevator exit. The tiny elevator opens on your floor to about a foot of carpet then an angled drop off down the steps, which is HARD TO SEE - how many guests fall down these stairs? Getting into and out of the elevator was a nerve wracking experience and there is NO WAY this can be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who is not sure footed with excellent vision. Young fleet footed people with good vision- no problem.

Liked: A charming, affordable, well maintained location. Any issues we had (needing an iron, our safe wasn't working properly), the staff responded to helpfully and with great communication.Celina, as well as the other regular staff members were welcoming, kind, and helped make our stay comfortable.

Cute in pictures, but not...

Liked: The only thing this hotel had going for it, was the location. BUT... there were several other cheaper hotels in the same are for a much lower price. You need to lower your prices!
Disliked: Honestly, this was horrible value for the money for what was advertised. The rooms look amazing on the website, however, in person it left A LOT to be desired. Small, cramped and not cute at all.I would not book with Happy Culture Hotels again. I also stayed at the Strabourg, France location a week earlier, and was not impressed.Also, the stairs are immeditaley outside the elevator, which is a complete hazard! I almost fell as I was backing out of the elevator, and the host didn't even warn me! Super close call!

Superb

Liked: Staff were outstanding! It really emulated Happy culture. The lady working the desk, who i believe her name was Celia, was amazing! She helped us with all the questions we had and even helped us when we accidentally left some things behind. The hotel and the rooms were so cute and the beds were comfy. There was a free bottle of champagne in the room that was wrapped in the same pattern as the room wallpaper. The attention to detail was outstanding. The shower was a little low for a tall guy like me (6ft,4) but that's nothing out the ordinary in most hotels. Location was great! Just off the main street and had loads of shops a day resturants close by, a 5 min walk to the Metro and a 2 min walk to the river. A fantastic affordable option in Paris!

Beautiful hotel in great location

Liked: Cosy little Parisian hotel in great location. We kindly given an upgrade and bottle of champagne for our recent engagement which was so thoughtful. We highly recommend!

Liked: Small, intimate & clean , nice breakfast with espresso machine , the bed was very comfortable everything was freshly painted and well maintained
Disliked: The second room I booked was in the ground floor and it was very noisy
