Great stay in a great...

Liked: Lovely little traditional hotel in an excellent location. Price was very fait considering it's a very close distance to the main square. Staff were great as was the breakfast. Many thanks.
Disliked: Room was a little dated and tired in places but it was clean and comfortable. No lift and very steep stairs. We had two rooms on the top floor and it was a bit of a hike with the bags. But they did communicate this before we went which was good and it's no more than you would expect from a historic, traditional property.

Superb boutique hotel in an...

Liked: Size of room, comfort and convenience. Style of architecture and furniture. Roof garden was excellent.
Disliked: Stairs hard work for the infirm.

Fabulous and original hotel in...

Liked: Original and fun boutique hotel with lots of attractive features. Roof terrace was a peaceful, green spot to sit in with view to cathedral.
Disliked: Nothing- there are a lot of stairs which may not suit some people, but the hotel are careful to make sure you are aware of this when booking.

Characterful hotel

Liked: Good location. Quirky and period decor. Good breakfast.
Disliked: No tea and coffee facilities in the room. Bathroom light was annoying as it came on automatically and stayed on for ages in the middle of the night. Should have a manual option. NB no lift and steep stairs.

Disliked: Bed was bit hard

Liked: Unique decor. Beautiful rooms. Great location close to station and city centre. Lovely roof terrace. Superb breakfast.
Disliked: Can’t fault it.
