Very good

Nice hotel, minor short comings.

Liked: Within walking distance of the French Quarter, Burbon Street and riverside as well as down town Canal Street and Poydras Street for anyone with reasonable mobility. Had a small pool for splashing about in and minimal gym facilities. Had some authenticity about it but in need of a little TLC. A very pleasant stay.
Disliked: Limited parking - we were lucky. Only 2 dining chairs for a table for 4. No draining facility for washed up items. Although exceeding expectations - more than one bedroom and having a power jet bath - the state of non working surfaces was somewhat dusty.

Exceptional

Liked: The authenticity of the hotel. Room space was ok. Nice that we could get to the balcony from our apartment.
Disliked: The fridge could've been larger. Also, they say they have a pool, but I would call it a fountain pond, not a pool that is fit for swimming - it's too small.

Liked: Being very close to everything Staff was really nice
Disliked: No outdoor pool & it was small indoor pool. No breakfast or things to drink.

It's a good location if...

Liked: There is no Canteen or restaurant. They have provided a small cook top, microwave and utensils. You need to get your own supplies to cook. Or there is always the possibility of eating outside.
Disliked: No food options.

Exceptional

Liked: It is pretty close to everything
Disliked: The sofa bed was not that comfortable. And I did not like that i could possibly be seen through the blinds.

An Oasis in the Storm.

Liked: The staff were delightful, friendly and helpful. Location. Location. Location. Right on the outskirts of the French Quarter yet easy walking distance to all attractions. Quiet and calm after the a night out or a day sightseeing.
Disliked: NA
