Overall good but expect to...
Liked: A rare experience of staying in a historical monument. Location of the hotel is incredible. Bed is comfortable.
Disliked: Our room didn’t have cable TV nor internet. We felt little bit cheated since it said it did but didn’t want to make a fuss.

Perfect location to explore the...
Liked: The location is super convenient, the terrasse is great to see the sunset, the room is clean and everything worked well. We could see most of the main attractions walking a few minutes from the hotel.
Disliked: Nothing that bothered us too much. Only the toilet that sometimes after flushing, did not stop running the water. We found out how to stop it and then everything went well.

Old world charm quietly tucked...
Liked: The old world charm found only in historical buildings. The hotel was opposite the beautiful cathedral.Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by, the hotel is nestled amongst the Tudor buildings.Lots for breakfast to choose from.Fresh juice to squeeze was a nice touch. Great location and cosy inside. The receptionist was a great at multitasking and made me feel welcome in spite of my limited francais..
Disliked: Closing doors at nine was okay for safety but if you want a night out then maybe a way of coming in till 11pm?

Location is great, but it's...
Liked: The proximity of the hotel to everything of interest in the old city is amazing, and the family that runs the hotel is charming and friendly. It's also reasonable value.
Disliked: The historic hotel was partially destroyed during the Second World War and pieced together post-warto the standards of the time. It's pretty basic, tacky even, and apart from the original facade and old courtyard, lacking old-world charm. There isn't really anywhere you want to sit and read a book or have a glass of wine outside, and you certainly don't want to spend any more time in your room than you have to.
