Hot, small and stuffy, no...

Liked: Good location. Reasonable part of town. Within walking distance of the Louvre and most points of interest. Good water pressure in the shower. Good supply of bath gel. Bidet in the bathroom.
Disliked: There was no air-conditioning and poor ventilation. We were there during the Paris heatwave and very uncomfortable in the room. The bathroom had no fan or window and no way to vent and get fresh air. The mezzanine room was very small barely enough room to sit or pass each other. The kettle cord was too short. Our daughter slept under the stairs to the mezzanine level and was quite cramped.

Both my wife and I...

Liked: Nice little hotel, excellent location, exceptionally friendly staff. Very good, safe neighborhood, nice convenience store right next door from the hotel, short walking distance to a metro station, many caffès, bakeries, restaurants around. The room was of decent size, had 2 separate comfortable beds, good size bathroom with bathtub, small fridge and coffee maker in the room. All of the staff, starting with the reception and ending with breakfast room staff and cleaning ladies, everyone was very kind, helpful and friendly. We arrived very early in the morning, but they honored our request for early check-in and our room was ready right away when we arrived!
Disliked: Liked everything!

Disliked: It would have been nice to have the windows stay open, we had to wedge a scarf to do so.

Enjoyable

Liked: It’s got character. The breakfast and breakfast room were pleasant. Staff were very friendly and the location was good. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
Disliked: No air conditioning.

Very good

Liked: Good breakfast, friendly cat. The room and bathroom were both perfectly good, but it was hot, so AC would have been nice to have. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location in the Marais.
