We had a great week...
Liked: Lovely hotel overlooking St Helier. The staff were very helpful & the spa was great! The food in the restaurant was very good.

Superb
Liked: Absolutely loved the place. Rooms were very comfortable and good sizes. Breakfast was excellent, the staff couldn’t do enough for you and we would not hesitate to recommend to others.
Disliked: The only minor criticism is that the rooms could have done with air conditioning. We did have a fan in the room but it was quite noisy.

Very good
Liked: Hotel is pristine clean in all areas. We were on the 5th floor and rooms were comfortable although the single room overlooking the back of the hotel was very hot and stuffy, even with the windows released to fully open. In fairness a fan was already provided in the room, they were tidy and had all necessities, bed was comfortable and not too soft, bathroom was pristine. The staff were all very helpful and polite. The pools, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and lounge-bed areas were all great, really nice and clean everywhere, we really enjoyed the environment. There were big clean fluffy towels and pool robes already provided in our rooms. There are courtesy buses that go to the town and back, which is a good idea - it would have been good to know the timetable and bus stop locations for this before arriving at the hotel rather than upon arrival.
Disliked: We slept badly from the constant noise all night from groups of scooters riding around the town with beyond-legal noise-making exhausts...this is not the hotel's fault, it was very hot weather so we kept the windows open for the sea breeze but be aware that the shape of the town acts as an amphitheatre with the hotel at the top of it. Breakfast was decent enough but not worthy of the hotel's 4-star status, there were just 2 cold meats to choose from, just 2 basic cheeses and just 2 bread types available (we arrived half an hour before end of breakfast). There was little choice of hot food and only 2 choices of prepped fruit. I've stayed in many 3-star hotels that had significantly better breakfasts, having said that, there was nothing wrong with any of it, there was plenty and it was all fresh, the area was kept clean and tidy and staff worked very hard to clear tables.

An enjoyable stay in an...
Liked: A quality hotel. Well kept ... clean...comfortable bed ... friendly and helpful staff ... Great indoor pool ... well kept grounds ... good food.
Disliked: Location was not easy to find, mostly because of the confusing system of one way streets around St. Helier. Would recommend using satnav when out and about driving.

A fantastic week’s stay in...
Liked: All the food at the hotel was delicious. Breakfast was part self-service and part a hot food order. The hotel offered some great evening meals, at similar prices to an English hotel but of better quality. Service was efficient and friendly.
Disliked: Nothing really - the coffee machines were a bit slow at busy times - but that’s a very minor point. Room cleaning was excellent with the room often cleaned while we breakfasted. Used towels were replaced daily and the place generally has the feel of a 5 star hotel.

Lovely location to relax
Liked: It was a beautifully appointed hotel. I ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient.
Disliked: The breakfast selection was a bit corporate and might have benefitted from local produce to make it more individual.
