Always my go to hotel.

Liked: I am a repeat customer I’ve been 3 times since February this year, it is my go to whenever my husband and I can get our in-laws over to babysit. The spa, the breakfast, the staff, the room and the beautiful building is always perfect for a get away treat.
Disliked: Sauna wasn’t quite as hot as I’d like but that’s me nit picking.

Good staff, good garaging but...

Liked: Excellent undercover parking for the classic car.Breakfast had a good selection of different foods.Staff on the whole were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: It was cold in the room but as a classic car mechanic I had brought my tool kit so I bled the radiators and then it was much warmer. Air in the radiators had stopped the radiators working properly. So learning point is for the maintenance team at the hotel to regularly bleed/ check the radiators are working correctly.Also allow the heating system to be working all day so customers can regulate heat in their rooms. It seem to be switched on for only a few hours every day. At breakfast, coffee machine was too slow and kept breaking down so another learning point is to deliver fresh black coffee or tea to every table with fresh milk.Please fit a shaving mirror/ make-up mirror to every bathroom. Difficult to see using normal mirror. And finally the bedside lights were too dim to read a book. Install brighter lights so reading is possible.

A great hotel with fabulous...

Liked: This was a great hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The Soa was really lovely and was also very clean.
Disliked: It was a 20 minute walk from town, but a shuttle bus was available for free during the day Mon-Sat.
