Liked: very friendly and helpful staff. they let us store our luggage and arranged a taxi to the airport. thank you!
Disliked: all ok

Exceptional

Liked: I like that although some of the interior appears to be "dated" the room was spotless and complete with amenities that u would not expect for this budget. The staff are so helpful and nice and the room feels homey.
Disliked: Had a bit of trouble with the door but front desk was always happy to help. Shower had good pressure but takes time for water to heat- just.very small things that can be ignored overall and maybe subjective only to my experience

Liked: Great location, most people seem to book it for its closeness to the stations. Area provides lots of restaurants and a market and the staff was friendly.
Disliked: The room wasn’t as presented in the picture. Everything seemed a bit rundown. The floorspace was almost entirely taken up by the bed, no space to leave your luggage anywhere, tiny handbasin and quite dark with window looking out to a dark light shaft.

Stay in Hotel de Bordeaux

Liked: Excellent location and value for money. Yes it's a budget hotel so it doesn't do great breakfast or have luxury facilities but what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in location and price.
Disliked: Breakfast didn't have eggs.

Wonderful loved it

Liked: I had a fabulous time i was alone and the hotel manager was most helpful and couldn't do enough for me I would stay again

Good

Liked: Very kind and helpful host. Good location. Near to main train stations but quiet at night. I slept quite well on the relatively comfy bed and pillows despite being a sensitive person and light sleeper.
Disliked: The bed was right next to the wall and the mattress had a tendency to slip away from the wall a bit, even when I moved the bed an inch away from the wall and put the mattress back. The shower was small and could do with a better wall fixture for the shower head and a better barrier than just a shower curtain to stop water going on the floor where you then have to stand on a couple of damp towels to soak it up while you brush your teeth or wash your hands.

GREAT value for the money!

Liked: Great value for the price and the location!! Also everyone working there (and the owner) were incredibly nice and attentive.
Disliked: Minor things such as the door was very difficult to lock (which is quite common in old buildings). Small challenge but the receptionist was able to come up and help me :)
