Hotel de Bellevue

Very good

Liked: The hotel facilities were good. Staff were most helpful and friendly. The room was clean, well kept!
Disliked: Unfortunately the location wasn't situated in the best area. As a solo traveller, I kept indoors as soon as it got dark. The bar across the hotel, and the park bench in front of the hotel made the location a little wary of unwanted attention. Best to get a taxi if you really want to enjoy the evening in Paris.Breakfast spread not exactly worth €14 with only scrambled eggs and fried chicken bits for a hot meal.

Clean and nicely decorated hotel

Liked: The staff is very friendly and helpful and the room is clean.
Disliked: The shower can be a little difficult as it has no curtains or glass so the bathroom gets easily fully wet.

Good hotel, dodgy location.

Liked: Room and staff were very good. Breakfast good too.
Disliked: Not very happy with the location. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all, but felt quite threatened by people constantly loitering in the streets around and outside the hotel to the extent that we didn’t go out or return at night which had an impact on our break. There were no reviews or indications of this before booking. If we’d known, we’d have chosen another area.

Unexpected stay, Eurostar cancelled very...

Liked: Close to Gard de nord station.Could walk to a lot of areas (should have used the bus for some of them. Get a map!)Some good vegan places to eat around the area.

Lovely hotel

Liked: Lovely hotel, a great stop-over location for the Eurostar. The location might be a bit imitating for some, but for me, the walk from Gare du Nord to the hotel simply reflected the diverse, cultural melting pot that Paris is, just like any other capital city.

Overall not that bad stay,...

Disliked: Turning off AC from main desk.
