Liked: Beautiful room. Great location. Next door to an amazing museum. Very spacious, clean and tidy. Breakfast included - which was great. Happy hour every afternoon.

A welcoming family owned hotel...

Liked: This was the 4th time I have stayed here and really love this family owned hotel. Everyone working there is very helpful and friendly and it is in a quiet location but close to the Duomo and museums. I will look forward to my next visit!

It was a very pleasant...

Liked: I wanted a hotel close to another hotel where an evening wedding was taking place, and this one was just a two minute walk away. As it turned out, it is in a wonderful location, very near the Ponte Vecchio. The staff was incredibly nice and responsive. Before my trip, they answered all my emails immediately - I never had to wait more than a day. And once I arrived, they were very helpful - both with directions and with suggestions on where to eat, what to see, etc. I especially enjoyed my interactions with Angelo, when I arrived late at night, and with Leonardo, during the day. As a woman traveling alone, this was very important to me. Also, the breakfast was excellent and the dining room staff very pleasant and friendly.
Disliked: I didn't realize there were quite so many stairs up to the reception. Luckily, there was a gentleman arriving at the same time, and he helped me upstairs with my suitcase. Upon leaving, Angelo helped me back downstairs, and ordered a taxi for me.

Well located, friendly and helpful...

Liked: Location was great—5-10 minutes walking for most tourist areas but relatively quiet for sleeping (especially the rear facing rooms). We easily walked from the train station to the hotel with our luggage (backpacks). The breakfast was great. We loved the made to order cappuccinos! Happy hour with snacks and drinks was also appreciated after a long day sight-seeing. This hotel is just right—not too fancy, very comfortable, and with all the amenities we needed.
Disliked: There was an obligatory flight of stairs from the street. Not a problem for us, but might be for some.
