This family-run hotel offers a very central location in a quiet street in the heart of Vienna just a 10-minute walk away from Saint Stephen's Cathedral. The spacious and modern rooms and suites of Hotel Das Tigra are air-conditioned and feature satellite TV a mini-bar safe and a bathroom. In the morning you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with many typically Viennese dishes. Famous Viennese sights such as the State Opera the Hofburg Imperial Palace the Burg Theater and the Graben Kohlmarkt and Kärntner Strasse shopping streets can be easily reached in short walks. The Herrengasse Underground Station (line U3) is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel. In 1773 Mozart and his father lived in a small apartment in the historical part of the hotel building which dates from the 16th century when they were invited to perform in front of the Empress Maria Theresia at Schönbrunn Palace. At the façade to the left of the hotel entrance you can see a memorial plaque commemorating Mozart's first stay in Vienna.

Perfect secluded place in the...

Liked: Very good breakfast, calm location right in middle of town.
Disliked: Small elevator, no proper door to the toilet (only a thin frosted glass pane, so not much privacy).

A Perfect Blend of Comfort,...

Liked: I had a great stay at this hotel during my trip to Vienna. The location is fantastic — within walking distance to the city center and two metro stations. The atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and relaxed, with a nice vibe that makes you feel at ease right away.My room was very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, especially the desk, which I really appreciated as I always like to have a proper workspace when traveling for work (even if I'm technically on holiday — but that's another story!
Disliked: Nothing to report!

Liked: Location, appearance, service, attention, all of the above by far exceeded our expectations.
Disliked: Absolutely no issues or concerns. I would give 15 out of 10 possible.
