Liked: Staff were excellent
Disliked: Access to reception. No lift availability and the steep stairs would deter me from booking again

Liked: It's a really great location overlooking the BOM Successo market, plus it's close to Casa Da Musica if you want to go for a gig. The rooms aren't huge, but they're quite modern and the staff are always really friendly. The breakfast is fine, although they sometimes have a deal with a lunch included, which wasn't great the time I had it.
Disliked: Everything at the hotel is great, but The Oporto tourist tax is now €3 per person, per night. This is out of the hotels control, but it quickly adds up.

Liked: Wonderful hotel for a short stay in Porto! The hotel is attached to the Bom Successo Mercado which is a fantastic place to have a bite to eat or a drink and listen to some live music. It is a bit of a hike to the Ribeiro district but buses and taxis are plentiful. Be aware that if you are arriving by car that there is very little parking in front of the hotel due to construction making check in a bit of a challenge. There is paid parking in a small garage at the hotel but space is limited and not much parking in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel if you can navigate the parking issues. If you arrive by other means, you will enjoy it even more!

Liked: Location was great and very convenient, close to public transportation and basically inside the Bom Sucesso Market.
Disliked: Our room had no window to the outside (the only window - which didn’t open completely - was facing the inside of the building) and the ventilation system was inefficient. Thermometer constantly reached >25 degrees inside the room. Cannot imagine during summer.On a given day, we had a work meeting and therefore put the “do not disturb” sign on the door, to avoid having the room cleaning taking place at the same time we needed the room. What was our surprise when we arrived at the hotel and the room was cleaned and the sign was gone?! They basically didn’t care about it.
