Very good

Liked: - Hotel interior design is excellent- Staff very friendly- Hotel breakfast excellent with lots of local produce- Great shower
Disliked: - Hotel room was very hot and the air conditioning couldn't get any colder. We slept with the balcony door open and even then it was very warm, and unfortunately it was noisy outside due to being next to the train station. If you like to sleep cold this might be good to consider

Very good

Liked: Friendly staff & locaiton above mall (Migros grocery store), family owned cheese shop, visitor's center) and bus station.
Disliked: Carpet, mini frig & TV stand in room.

Liked: They gave us a free upgrade. This is a very good 4 Star hotel and it made feel like we are in a Five-star hotel.The staff were very welcoming very hard-working, very polite, and going out of the way to help us in every single way.Nice firm Big Double BedGreat Breakfast….. which started early around 6:30 AM which was great compared to other hotels which would start only at around 8 or 9 AM……. Check out was 12 PM which was another plus point but we didn’t wait that long. We left by 10 AM.It was just too good in all ways and we will definitely return again .
Disliked: Nothing Absolutely.

Warm and welcoming

Liked: Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff and children are welcomed!
Disliked: Quite expensive breakfast CHF 25 per adult, CHF 10 for children for not much of a selection. But the male member of staff did offer my mum a complimentary breakfast for our stay for her birthday so between the 3 of us it worked out reasonable but I wouldn't have been happy paying full price for what was on offer.A kettle (not just coffee machine) would have been nice in the room.

Great Location, Very Homely and...

Liked: The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the new railway station and a 10 minute walk into the old part of town. The staff were very welcoming right from the start in a very relaxed but still professional manner. Whenever you met staff around the hotel they were always polite, said "hi" and wanted to know if everything was OK. The room was compact but of sufficient size for a short stay, especially the bathroom and walk in shower. The mini bar was checked and stocked each day as needed and housekeeping always c;leaned however late the room was left empty. We did not try the buffet breakfast but there was a variety of restuarants cafes within a 5 minute walk including a Chinese all you can eat buffet.
Disliked: Whilst the location is great. the hotel is not easy to find the first time as the outside doors are not well signposted, and like other reviewers, I had to ask someone. Not really a negative, more a small challenge :)
