Overall we loved our stay in Htel Croix Baragnon and would stay there again.

Liked: The 2 rooms we stayed in matched exactly to the descriptions advertised and both were very clean and comfortable. Our request that our rooms be close together was facilitated also. The (same) receptionist we met upon both arriving and leaving was extremely pleasant and helpful. We didn't avail of housekeeping services due to our short 2-night stay but everything we needed was stocked well in our rooms. We also didn't avail of breakfast so can't comment about that aspect.
Disliked: The ensuite didn't have an active extractor fan (albeit there was a physical extractor) that may be important given that there is no window in the ensuite. The shower was at a higher lever from the ensuite floor so you had to be quite careful stepping in and out etc, and as a result the shower head in its highest position reached shoulder high at best (but could be adjusted of course). Same with the toilet, it was on a raised narrow step so care needed.
