Liked: I adore accommodations like Hotel Cristall.  All the staff were friendly, helpful and wonderful!  I arrived in Frankfurt ahead of schedule and was absolutely exhausted.  I had read that I would be able to leave my luggage in Frankfurt Central Station lockers, and I looked forward to taking advantage of that option.  Unfortunately, I could not find them in my tired state.  I was aware that Hotel Cristall's check-in time started at 2pm CET, so I was reluctant to inquire and/or be of any inconvenience.  That said, I was too tired to be dragging my luggage around the city until check-in.  So, I mustered up some courage and inquired.  There was no reason for my anxieties.  They were very welcoming and accommodating.  At no point did I feel like I was inconveniencing anyone.  If need be, one is allowed to store one's luggage before check-in and after check-out.  It's the world of a difference.By the time I read the response and arrived at the Hotel Cristall, the staff were able to go even further beyond my expectations.  I was able to check-in ahead of schedule.  My body and mind were extremely grateful for the gesture.  Hotel Cristall is one of the wonderful accommodations which welcomes one with a bottle of water.  I very much needed and appreciated it.  They include a European breakfast, which adds even more value for money. It's location is currently a blessing and a curse. I adore the hotel's proximity to Frankfurt Central Station. I could go on.  If possible, I would stay again and I would recommend it to all my friends, family, and everyone.  Thank you, Hotel Cristall for setting the bar high and for a wonderful introduction to Frankfurt!
Disliked: I like it's proximity to Frankfurt Central Station, but some of the activity I saw taking place in the surrounding area is not my cup of tea.

Dangerous area not the best...

Liked: Kind day worker.
Disliked: Sexist night shift worker who checked me in for my stay. By the train station- not a safe area.

Worths a short stay

Liked: Location is superb! Just steps away from Hauptbahnhof.Room was clean, bed was comfy, small desk for laptop, shower was fine. Staffs were polite and welcoming.
Disliked: Blanket was a bit small for tall persons.There were no instructions for the heater.The area was a bit creepy, but it's normal around main stations in Europe.

Great hotel for a single...

Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good, lots of choices. Very close to the trains station. Safe location for single women. Would stay again.

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable; Hotel provided good breakfast, check-in process was easy and simple. Hotel is located very close to the main train station.
Disliked: Neighbourhood - if I've known more about this neighbourhood, I would not stay there; As it appears, ~It's primarily associated with activities like prostitution and incidents such as drug dealing.~ It was very disturbing for us, we can't even go outside nighttime.

Liked: Great Breakfast. Close to station, but quiet. Area a bit seedy but around hotel itself felt very safe.
Disliked: Elevator to half floors. Shower/ bathroom a bit crapped.

convenient location, good value for...

Liked: I have used this hotel a few times. Convenient location. The rooms are basic, but more than adequate for one night in transit. Breakfast buffet had a lot of choice. Any hotel that has honey as a condiment is a bonus for me.
