Excellent stay at a very...

Liked: This is our third time staying at the Cosimo de’Medici. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk from the train station and 6/8mins walk to all the main sights .The hotel is small but very accessible , the staff were very friendly and professional . The breakfast room is also small but it offers a selection of fruit and cereal, pastries, croissants etc , fresh juice and hot drinks . The hot food option is limited but adequate .We had a twin room, the air conditioning was a delight in this current heat . The room was cleaned daily and the bedding and towels also changed each day . No complaints at all.
Disliked: We are familiar with the hotel so knew exactly what we were expecting . The only thing that I feel could be improved is the quality of the pillows . My daughter and I found them to be very hard but after a full day in Florence, it didn’t affect our sleep too badly .

Old rooms that could use...

Liked: Good location next to the train station.
Disliked: The AC in the room was very poor. The remote control seemed to be broken(it had tape wrapped around it) and the wall control had no effect. The lady running the breakfast room was not too friendly. There were limited options available.

Liked: The location is perfect, very close to the airport and nearby to the city centre. The staffs are really nice and helpful. They helped me to book taxi to the airport early in the morning.Love the clean room and bathroom.
Disliked: The aircon didn't work very well. The room is not really as described in the picture.
