Liked: Location is excellent. Only 5 minutes to Plaza Mayor and 10 minutes to Gran Vía. I enjoyed the terrace to chill out after a day of sightseeing.

Liked: Hotel Cortezo is in an ideal location if you want to explore the shops, restaurants, bars, and markets of the lively Lavapies district of Madrid but still want to have easy access to major sites like Plaza Mayor, the Prado, and el Retriro park. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is exceptionally helpful with advice on navigating the city and locating goods and services.
