Lovely stay by Whitstable Beach

Liked: The Room was on the small side with a tiny bit of room by side of bed but despite that was comfortable bed, a nice Smart TV and had a lovely balcony. We were warned a out the scaffolding in advance. I've stayed here before in a bigger room and would stay again, it's a great hotel right on the beach with great views and we had a good breakfast. It's a fair price. The staff were helpful and gave us some toothpaste and extra shampoo.
Disliked: The bed had a tiny space by the right side was had to walk dude shuffle to get to bed.

The room was very small...

Liked: The breakfast was wonderful; thoroughly enjoyed.The chef and staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful.
Disliked: We have stayed at The Hotel Continental before and expected the same experience, which was lovely. The room this time was extremely small, no where to put our small case, we didn't even bother unpacking as limited hanging space. There was scaffolding on the very unkept balcony ( we were only informed that there was building work after we had paid). We would never normally complain, but on this occasion felt it was necessary.The reception staff dismissed our concerns. We believe that the manager was unavailable as I'm sure they would have dealt with our concerns in a more professional manner. When we checked out no thank you or did you enjoy your stay! Even a smile or safe journey home would have been nice.

Great Staff. Not a place...

Liked: Front office Staff were great. Appaently you have to Park in a local street, IF you can find any open spots. The lady at the desk took it on herself to move her car from the back Parking lot and give us her Space (Tag) for the night.
Disliked: PARKING. After flying in from the USA overnight, and driving 3 hours to get there. We were told NO Parking on site. We had to "try to find a place in the nearby streets".The place is under renovation so the "balcony" we thought we had booked had scaffolding all over that end of the building.

Great stay in an excellent...

Liked: Great location, comfy bed, excellent service from friendly staff.
Disliked: Limited parking spots avail on a first in basis. Annoying to try and find parking spots avail in the side streets or having to pay expensive rates at the public parking area at the front of the hotel for convenience.
