Really lovely hotel for the...

Liked: Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The Foyer was very well presented with a lovely scent which was welcoming. The staff very attentive and friendly. Great location too for access to Fenway Park and not too far to Newbury Street.
Disliked: Nothing.

Exceptional hotel, from the staff...

Liked: The property itself is beautiful, it is clean and has exceptional amenities. The proximity to Fenway is incredible and the location is incredibly easy for transit, even for the out of towner. The Fenway facing rooms have a great view for the true Red Sox fans and the terrace is just beautiful! But the real gem of staying here is the staff. They not only go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible, but they treat you like family. They are kind, personable and knowledgeable, greeting you by name every time you walk by and making you feel welcome every second of your stay. I would recommend Hotel Commonwealth 1000 times over.

Superb

Disliked: I understand that Boston’s layout is tough for people drive and especially park in, but the one thing that was a let down was the price of how much they charge for vallet parking. I was stunned when the kind front desk worker told me that it was $75/per night JUST for parking. Again, it’s understandable, but I think $75 per night is kind of a lot. On top of that, we had no choice but to say “yes” to that charge because we were informed of it when we checked in. Otherwise, it was a great stay and my family and I would stay here again!

Disliked: Wasn’t offered bottle for waterFire alarm went off in error twice during night with no employee presence or communication to direct or explain. Recorded voice directions very confusing. Wound up in stair well with no ability to recenter guest floors or lobby.
