The Columbus Hotel is in Krakow's Kazimierz District just 320 yards from the Tempel (Temple) Synagogue. It provides air-conditioned rooms with free internet access. Excellent, I recommend.

Liked: Clean rooms, good air, excellent service, good breakfast.
Disliked: The tram seems to go often nearby the hotel, and it can be heard inside.

I would revisit this hotel....

Liked: It’s very central without being amongst the crowds. Breakfast was really good. Something for everyone. Egg, bacon, sausages, fruit, cheese and meat. The rooms were very clean.
Disliked: The bar service wasn’t great. We had to get our own beers and find a bottle opener. The guy on reception was tired which made him appear a bit grumpy.

Liked: Comfortable beds. Very clean. Staff very helpful.

Liked: 3 stops on tram ( 5 min ) away from old town or 3 stops other direction to Schindlers factory, right by Jewish quarter for food and independent small shops
Disliked: First encounter with pick pocket on tram by door ..luckily not successful
