Disappointing

Great hotel - I’d definitely...

Liked: Brand new room and facilities. Very clean everywhere. Hot buffet food with a wonderful selection, the salad bar WOW! Lovely setting. Staff AMAZING! Animation team have been the star of the show, specially Ionela who paid personal attention of my daughter and always cared for her when she saw her, even if that was walking through reception shouting her name and running to give her a hug or during the evening at the mini disco! My daughter is shy and Ionela held her hand, sat with her during the magic show and was so nice she needs a special shout out. Baby pool is great, lots of sun beds, although we didn’t use them the water slides look fun for the kids. Direct access to the beach, although it’s a tiny shingle beach and really hard to walk on. It’s not a positive but it’s not a negative either. They are building a new swimming pool which will have a new baby play zone. It’s only 1 foot deep, so at the moment there are building works going on out there. It’s not great when you can hear work going on, but when it’s finished it will be fantastic. Workers are there daily and I think it will be complete by the time the summer is here. I want to come back just to see it!
Disliked: The mini club had few hours. Although there were many activities for older children, the pool was too cold and weather wasn’t with us (April Easter 2025) and we were relying on the mini club but it didn’t start until 11.30 and stopped at 13:30 for the whole afternoon. The buffet food focused on Spanish meats and Paellas. Although nice, 4 x days became repetitive and we were hoping for themed nights with different cuisines. Only one bar, which when it’s cold outside you’re stuck to if you want to kill some time, but seating is all upright at tables and not cosy when you want to sit back and chill, and it becomes loud when full.

Great family hotel.

Liked: We booked a family room, this was a 2 bedroom apartment and was perfect for our needs. It even had a washing machine, which was a huge bonus! The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The hotel itself was also clean and had good facilities. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh, varied, and plentiful. The kids enjoyed the pool. It was a little chilly, but that's to be expected at this time of year. It didn't stop them enjoying themselves! Overall, we were really pleased with our stay and would happily recommend it to others.
Disliked: Nothing, we were really pleased with our stay.

Very nice and big hotel

Liked: We were celebrating birthday and hotel made a surprise for my mum- a bottle of wine , it was sweet . Room was very nice , we loved it Food variety was good, but I wish there were more choices of fruits and vegetables.

Disliked: Not made aware pool would be closed for our stay with children. Building work going on. Noisy and dusty. Food in restaurant very poor and pricy for the quality. Nothing to do outside the hotel. Nowhere to eat. The one or two restaurants that were available opened at odd hours and food very expensive and low standard. totally unsuitable for children .pool bar only had dry cheese and ham sandwiches so had to leave hotel to try and find something to eat.

Liked: Nothing. It was a very bad stay. I would not recommend this hotel to any young family. This is a hotel for anyone 60 or above. There were many rude old people.
Disliked: This is a bad hotel for the following reasons:1) the rooms are very old. The sliding bathroom door was faulty and when my teenager son was having a shower the door fell on him and smashed into pieces as per the pictures. He got cuts in various places on his hands, shoulder and feet but he was lucky and it could have been worse. The hotel said it could have been my son’s fault for breaking the door and therefore no compensation was given! Very poor response especially considering that the new room that the hotel gave to us after this accident had another faulty bathroom door and a cracked terrace window pane. We decided not to use that bathroom at all for the rest of our stay to be on the safe side. Before I booked the hotel, I read a few reviews which said the hotel is in need of refurbishment but unfortunately I did not pay enough attention to these reviews. I wish I did and would have avoided this accident.2) the pool of the hotel was closed during our whole stay and only a mini kid’s one was opened. Unfortunately my teenager son did not manage to swim at all! We chose this hotel because of the impressive slides as per the pictures, but did not get to enjoy any of it! When we were booking the hotel, there was no note or warning to say that the pool will be closed for the dates that we were booking. When I mentioned this to the hotel, they said this is ‘seasonal’ and therefore they expect customers to know that the pool will be closed on these specific dates! If you are going to the hotel before 12 April be aware that the pool will be closed.3) the food was terrible. We were on half board for 3 nights. All 3 nights, the food served during the buffet dinner were mostly exactly the same. Not much changed during the 3 nights. We were looking forward to lots of seafood and Spanish cuisine but unfortunately these were not served during the buffet dinner for all 3 nights.
