Very good

Liked: Room was clean, shower was excellent. Staff were polite and courteous, warm welcome.Room was small but we were only staying overnight, bathroom was a good size.
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional

Liked: The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring stirling. Breakfast was excellent, service from staff was great, all very helpful and polite. Onsite parking (even though this was an extra charge). Bedroom was great, large bathroom and room itself roomy and comfortable.
Disliked: No net curtain on window as room had other building windows looking directly in to our room, feeling like no privacy abd others being able to see in without us knowing, therefore having to close the curtains all the time whilst in the room. No mini fridge in the rooms would have been good to keep water, snacks cool in, etc.

Disliked: Very expensive £166 but no breakfast. Bathroom towel rail was on all of the time so the bathroom was like a sauna!

Bring lots of money

Liked: Good location downtown up on a hill. I found the bar very expensive. $42.00 for two coffee with a shot of Bailys was a bit rich. The breakfast was good but ran out fast. Coffee was the hardest to get in the morning.
Disliked: Prices of anything in Scotland are really expensive. Double on places than at home on Canada. My VISA is worn out

Hotel Colessio exceeded my expectations...

Liked: I loved my stay at this hotel, it exceeded my expectations. Perfect location! Staff are lovely, the hotel is so clean and welcoming, rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was great too! Coming back with my kids and dog very soon
Disliked: My only minor fault was my keycard kept not working, so I’d go up to my room then have to go all the way back down. But I sorted it out by getting it reactivated before going upstairs

Liked: Amazing building, spectacular to look at at night. The room was an upgrade and was ok for the money. It was clean, bright, nice bathroom, breakfast was good.
