Disliked: There were areas of the hotel that were looking a little tired and in need of some renovation.

Liked: The beautiful hotel is centrally located in Sirling and a short walk to anything/anywhere in Stirling. We had tickets for a show in The Albert Halls which was only a 5min walk away. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was a terrific spread. The young man on breakfast duty was charming, as was the receptionist who checked us in. On site car park fees £15 'for 24hrs.
Disliked: The only reason it didn't get full marks was the lack of a mirror in the actual bedroom to facilitate styling your hair. You cannot plug in a hairdryer or tongs in a shower room.

Disliked: Poorly stocked bar. No bar snacks available.

Great location and comfortable accommodations.

Liked: Fantastic location was convenient to the train station and just down the hill from the castle. It was convenient to everything I visited in Stirling.
Disliked: I didn't like having to make breakfast selections the night before breakfast. I support the effort to reduce food waste, but this was kind of inconvenient and it also meant a short wait for food in the morning. I prefer a buffet.

Excellent location, the rating is...

Liked: The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel bar was smart, we didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food.
Disliked: One small thing, a couple of the bathroom tiles were cracked otherwise nothing.
