Hotel Colessio is a beautifully renovated Victorian building turned luxury boutique hotel, right in the center of Stirling. With its grand exterior, high-end interiors, and a welcoming atmosphere, this stylish stay is just a short walk from key attractions, shops, and the city’s music venues. Whether you're catching a show, exploring the city, or both, Hotel Colessio puts you in the heart of it all.
Location is everything, and Hotel Colessio delivers—just a 7-minute walk from Stirling Railway Station and many local venues. It’s close enough to the action but far enough for a quiet night’s sleep. The hotel offers flexible check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM, giving you time to recover after a late show. With free WiFi and plush beds, it's a cozy spot to wind down after an energetic night out.
The on-site Grill Room serves up traditional dishes with a modern twist, all cooked over a Josper Grill for that smoky flavor. The hotel’s cocktail and piano bar is great for pre-show drinks or a nightcap. While there's no all-night room service, the central location means plenty of late-night food spots are just a short walk away. And yes, breakfast is available for those who need a hearty start after a late night out.
The hotel’s elegant bar is perfect for relaxed evening vibes, often with live piano music. Plus, you're within walking distance of Stirling’s pubs and lounges—some featuring their own live acts. Whether you’re into quiet cocktails or post-gig pints, you’ll find something nearby.
Some guests mention that the parking fee (£16/day) feels a bit steep, and occasionally there’s a wait at check-in during peak times. However, most say the quality of the stay makes up for it.
Hotel Colessio is a chic, central choice for concert-goers who want style, comfort, and easy access to Stirling’s music scene.

Pleasant
Liked: The location was nice. Breakfast hall was pretty.
Disliked: The entrance hall by the front doors needs cleaning. Full of spider webbs. Room was clean, however, charging that price you would expect not to have damaged old furniture, especially the dressing table and bed base with fake leather pealing off. No aircon in the room and was really hot. A small loud fan was provided. At breakfast we requested salt, the waiter had no idea where to find any, after the meal was done he managed to find some, that's after we heard how the kitchen staff shouted at him.

A delightful and enjoyable experience...
Liked: Lovely room, but in need of some attention as some aspects are looking tired or are the worse for wear. for example the bathroom counter is falling a little and the sink is cracked. But, the bath was a hit
Disliked: It was really only the signs of wear and damage, although this did not impact our enjoyment

Wouldn’t rush back or recommend...
Liked: Location was good. Bathroom was nice. Staff were all very nice. Everything seemed clean.
Disliked: Outdoor spaces poorly kept. Paying for parking not great. Lack of atmosphere. Bed hard and room dated and small.

never again
Liked: The bathroom was well appointed. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: there was no bedside table; nowhere for a glass of water, phone, glasses. That is absurd, and does not meet any definition of luxury or simple practicality. At 6am, the air-conditioning for the kitchen turned on; my room backed on to a corridor between two buildings; so the sound reverberated at an uncomfortably loud level. Impossible to get back to sleep. So that harms my day. A restless night in a hotel, which called itself luxury.I sat at the one table set for one person for breakfast; even though I was the first client at that table that morning, the other side was covered with crumbs, which I had to request to be cleaned.
