Liked: Location.
Disliked: Heating unit didn't work.

Disliked: Parking was 26 dollars for one night. Plus I get home and check my bank statement and there's a withdrawal from the hotel for $50. Not sure what the other $24 was for. Taking money out of someone's account and not telling them is unacceptable. Still waiting to hear back from accounting department. Not happy about this.

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean and smelled great. The bed linens were fabulous! And the bed so comfortable! Beautiful decor that matched the era of the building quite well. Love it when the buildings are restored not updated.

Liked: Love the historical building and that it was restored, not updated.
Disliked: The bathroom was rather small.

Disliked: Our room with the good view had terribly dirty windows if the view hadn't been so good I would never have noticed the dirty windows also the parking garage was a tight squeeze

Good location

Liked: The central location made walking everywhere a little easier. The valet team is very efficient, friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The 10 drink card would have been nice, if we could have gotten served within the 20 minutes we waited for a server.The breakfast we paid extra for was a total joke. People were waiting in.line just to get coffee to leave. The hostess was.alone at the greeter stand. Trying to take names and get coffee then she started seating and the other guests were not getting their coffee. The food when we got it, was excellent. But the pace of seating overpowered the kitchen staff. I called and requested a recliner type od chair as my husband is unable to lay flat in a bed. They employee I spoke with never called back as.promised. He did not have a good night. At almost $500 a night could have been better.

Overall decent

Liked: Liked the art deco lobby... plenty of friendly check-in personnel. Room was clean.
Disliked: Waited over hour for check-in.. received two free breakfast for my wait time… booked room for six people, three towels, and one washcloth in room, asked for more… ran out of washcloths, give us hand towels to use…(not a big issue, just unusual)

Liked: Very ornate and classic.
Disliked: Self parking garage elevator was out of order. Booked our room through booking.com and we paid in full, but hotel also charged us. We got reimbursed 4 days later. Offering room service would be a plus.

Good

Disliked: Paid $60 for valet parking. Check out in the morning and waited for my car. The valet worker came to me and handed me my keys and told meI had to go get my own car because he couldn’t drive it. So we carried all of our luggage down the road, through the parking garage and found my car. Then because we had already checked out of the hotel, we couldn’t get out of the parking garage because you have to scan your room key to get the parking lot gates to go up. We had to sit and wait for him to come back for another car before we could even get on the road.

Historical and Beautiful

Liked: We noticed that the windows weren’t really that clean but overall the experience was great and will stay there again!
