The famous Vondelpark functions as a backyard garden to Hotel City Garden which is on the fancy P.C. Hooftstraat shopping street. It provides rooms with street or park views. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The hotel rooms have private bathroom a direct dial telephone and TV. In the morning you can start the day with a breakfast buffet in the bright breakfast room with a view of the grounds. Hotel City Garden joins on to the Vondelpark ideal for a lovely walk. Great location, clean room and...

Liked: Amazing location and personnel. They are very helpful (needed help to rearrange my reservation, weight my luggage and arrange public transportation). I felt really safe as a solo traveler. The room and bed was quite clean.
Disliked: There is no air conditioning maybe because it is an old building.

Liked: Overall good, worth the money. Loved the staff!
Disliked: Pillows were too soft, but maybe that's just me.. And the beds were a bit too narrow.

Great location, quiet, comfortable

Liked: Quietest room ever! Most comfortable bed. Excellent location near museums, park, shopping. Well maintained.

Nice hotel, comfortable room.

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable, it was what we needed for our stay in Amsterdam.
Disliked: Not that it’s a problem but the property is about a 30 min walk from the main city area so is a little further out but still in a beautiful area next to Vondelpark. The room was nice but the bathroom quite outdated.

Good enough stay relatively close...

Liked: For sure the location.
Disliked: Overpriced breakfast. Housekeeping staff keep coming in even with “Do not disturb” sign on.
