Liked: Location was within walking distance to downtown.
Disliked: There was no elevator.

Magnificent City . Wonderful hotel...

Liked: Superbly located for the city centre. The hotel is on a small road that’s quiet but which still has a dozen places to eat and drink . Most importantly it’s a short walk to the centre of Bordeaux. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Lou gave us recommendations of where to visit and eat and all were spot on. I would recommend to anyone to talk a walking tour to familiarise yourself with the various land marks and the tram system is superb, cheap and easy to use. Overall Bordeaux is a magnificent City and you won’t go wrong if you stay at the Churchill.
Disliked: The only minor negative was the lack of wardrobe space but honestly don’t let this put you off , there’s still enough space to hang a few dresses and trousers
