The room was pre-booked close to a month in advance and when we arrived at the hotel a little after 12pm we were told we had to wait until 3 o'clock for the room to be ready. When we arrived in our hotel room, we saw that it was not the room that was advertised online. Around 10pm when we returned to the hotel to get some sleep, we noticed that not only was the bed wet, but it had a brown stain. At that time, we decided to go downstairs to the lobby to make a complaint. When talking to the clerk at the front desk, he told us that we could not change rooms because the hotel was all booked and that there was no one on staff that could help us out at that time of night. At that point the clerk decided to change the bed sheets himself and asked us to wait for him to return. Although the clerk told us to wait, we went upstairs anyways to check on things. When we arrived in the room, he had finished removing the bed sheets and had to quickly leave for a moment to get new ones. We saw that he used pillows to disguise an even worse stain on the mattress cover that trailed down the length of the bed. Although he had covered up the stain as best he could by the time he finished changing the sheets, the bed was still not properly made and was left dishevelled. When we asked if it was possible to get a refund, the clerk told us to speak with the manager who would be available in the morning. When we went to check out the next morning, we spoke to another clerk about our experience and asked to see the manager. We were told that the manager was not on site that day, and that the hotel does not give any refunds for bad service and that they only provide a complimentary breakfast for the next time we visit. On another note, aside from the fact that sleep that night was virtually impossible added to the fact that the maids were talking very loudly at around 6am, the carpet in the room was very greasy and had crumbs of things on it, the soaps that were left for us to use were not sufficient for two people, and the hotel clerk that had helped change the bed sheets was very short tempered with us.

Liked: We were able to leave our luggage with the hotel which allowed us to roam around the city while we waited for our room.

Service was poor in general, the room was not up to our standards, and maids were talking and laughing as loud as possible in the hallways at 6am in the morning. Also, around 11pm, there was a family sleeping in the lobby.

This hotel is a little dated - furniture old and TV not HD. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the location was perfect for our needs. I always plan to pay to park in Montreal and when the parking is actually attached to the hotel I consider that a plus.

Liked: Loaction is great. Right in the centre of downtown. Good 10-30min walk to all the downtown attractions
Disliked: Elevator smells like someone had been smoking weed and cigarettes. Building looks old which comes in the territory. Underground parking was good however, too small and there’s no elevator from the parking area up to the main floor. For a single parent travelling with a toddler alone with all the things we had to carry and take two trips back and forth.

Spring in Montreal

Liked: It was perfectly located in the heart of Montreal.
Disliked: Everything was great other than there was no parking available.

Disliked: TV channels, poor sound on tv, curtains did not fully close, noisy bathroom fan, used male contraceptive found on sofa, charged me $200 on arrival in case I purchased services and said on departure I would receive a full refund in 5 to 10 days. Never had this in 50 years of travel. The manager of this hotel should spend a night in room 401

Nice place for two nights....

Liked: Well located and convenient. Easy to reach from airport and close to city center. Quiet. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Decoration and furniture are ageing and would need renovation. Not enough light in the rooms (there are lamps but not strong enough and it is very dark in the room. Furthermore, the socket of one of the bedlamps was not working and the staff did not fix it or provide an extension cord (despite our claim) during our stay. Finally, housekeeping is ensured only very 3 nights.
