Got what I paid for...

Liked: Friendly Staff, Amazing Location, And very good value for money. Right in the center of town.
Disliked: Not the most modern place. Was a little loud at night and some luxuries weren't included.

Very negative experience.

Liked: We didn't stay at the hotel as it happened to be shut on arrival! No warning, no response from the reception. We had to look for an alternative accommodation in the evening of arrival instead of enjoying our time in Brussels. Very negative experience. Booking.com provided help with finding a replacement hotel. We still haven't received any updates/explanation from the hotel or booking.com what went wrong with hotel Chantecler.

Disliked: So I got there and pressed the reception call button for about 2 hours and no one answered in the end i just had to book a new hotel room.

Liked: The location is very good and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: It was pricy for what it was (though Brussels it's expensive). Could be a bit cleaner (but was also not dirty).
