Good

Comfortable, reliable, a favourite hotel.

Liked: Central location old town, walkable to main sites. Rooms are large and high ceilings, bathrooms fully equipped. Good breakfast available for reasonable cost and helpful people at desk.
Disliked: Parking very limited, need to arrange in advance. Not always clear when booking that this is necessary.

Liked: Like the location was very close to everything just a few blocks away to restaurants and scenic attractions like the hotel Fontenac.Hotel staff were amazing very friendly and helpful. The room was larger than normal and very comfortable.

Great location and convenient to...

Liked: Good location in the old town with parking (reservation and payment needed). Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: A bit of smell in the room. Room was not cleaned although we had requested it. No anti-slip mat in bathtub used for shower and no grab handles, making the slippery tub a potential fall danger.

Bad experience with bathroom; but...

Liked: Staff addressed the issue with the spoilt tap in the bathroom promptly by switching us to another room. However, the replacement room was much smaller than the one we checked in to.
Disliked: The shower tap did not worked so we could not take a shower. The replacement room offered was much smaller. Luckily, the staff moved us back to the original room after a day, when the shower tap was fixed. (We had 2 consecutive stays)

Spacious room in good location

Liked: Room was spacious. Location was within walkable distance to tourist attractions, though Quebec City has a lot of up/down slopes. The complimentary cappuccinos are very much appreciated, thank you!

Cozy hotel, walking distance to...

Liked: The location was great - only a 10 minute walk to the convention center and close to many nice restaurants and shops. It's a very cozy, quiet hotel with friendly staff.
Disliked: N/a

Liked: Great location in old town easy walking to restaurants and bars and only 10 minutes walk to Via Rail and bus transit centre.

Good

Liked: Good location & central to all shops & restaurants. On a quiet street & appreciated being able to park my car on site. The free coffee, tea & lemon water in the lobby was a nice touch.
Disliked: The worn carpet on level one leading to the rooms. Although our bathroom was stylish, the shower walls appeared to be moldy. Our room has a bit of an unpleasant musty smell and the window to the room looked directly into the gym so we couldn't keep our blinds open. Although the bed was comfortable, the metal bed frame was fragile & noisy.
