Charming hotel in the heart...

Liked: The location is fantastic - it is less than one block from the main Old Town Square and a hub of activity. The rooms are dated (as appropriate for an older building) but clean and spacious - that is why you pick them instead of staying in a modern hotel room. Somehow, the rooms are quiet and there is minimal if any street noise given how close you are to everything. There are Czech, Mexican, Italian, Irish, and Indian restaurants all within 5 min walk and the streets are incredibly safe. The included breakfast is also very good with eggs, bacon, toast, cold cuts, yogurt, fruit, cereal etc. - one thing Americans always complain about it lukewarm milk on their cereal so it would be great if they could put some on ice/keep it cool. We appreciate the elevator up to our floor and the staff is cheerful and accommodating.

Liked: The staff could not be more helpful, patient & kind. We were a three generation group and found the hotel perfect for our reunion. Breakfast is excellent. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The location is superb. A wonderful first visit to Prague. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Cerny Slon.

A comfy, clean, friendly hotel...

Liked: The location was fantastic. The Charles Bridge towards the other side of the river is only an 8/10 minute walk away. My single room was comfy and cosy, with good, free WiFi. The staff were lovely too! Thank you.
Disliked: I felt that the breakfast could have been slightly better. The fresh cheeses and fruit would have been better kept in covered containers. I did have the yoghurts and tea though :)

Very nice hotel in historical...

Liked: Hotel in historical building in city centre. TOP location, everywhere close. Friendly staff, nice window view (room 16). Hotel parking available in shopping mall near hotel for 30€/day. Good breakfast. Coffee shop is part of the hotel, with indoor and outdoor/ street sitting.
Disliked: Very slow water draining in the bathtub (room 16),Due road closure near hotel - a bit complicated to get to the hotel by car (this is not a hotel foult), however the hotel reception could share this info prior arrival.

Liked: Super friendly staff, ALL of them! Super location. We really enjoyed our stay! Special greetings to Lukas from reception!
Disliked: It was ok as it was, maybe a little more choice for breakfast!
