A place to stay right...
Liked: Best location. Just a nice room with everything that I needed in a city that was beautiful.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind

Very good
Liked: Great location, Good food and drink! Staff very accesible to non-Dutch speakers.
Disliked: Very poor ventilation in room. Perhaps just an issue of vacationing in Europe in summer, though.

Great location and great view...
Liked: Good location and the room was spacious.
Disliked: No air conditioning. If you left the window open for airflow you couldn’t sleep because of the noise in the square early in the morning. If you closed the window to block noise you couldn’t sleep because you were sweating so much. It was very hot during our stay. So this may be unusual. No help carrying bags onto flights of stairs. Fire alarm went off during the night. No owner/caretakers on site. No information. Told to go back to bed.

It became an experience even...
Liked: The location of the room I stayed in was amazingly beautiful, right across from the square.
Disliked: I didn’t see an elevator to go upstairs, but since it’s an old building, that’s understandable. However, the lack of an elevator might be an issue for families with children or individuals with disabilities.

A view that couldn't be...
Liked: This hotel is on the main square. We had a first floor room with a view over the square and the Belfry. The view couldn't be beat!!! We pulled our chairs over to the window and enjoyed the view and the activities every evening; The hotel has a restaurant that you must walk thru to get to your room; Be aware that there is no elevator and no air conditioning but a waiter helped carry our luggage upstairs when we arrived; The staff was friendly, but the staff was really the waiters in the restaurant--no desk attendant; we had a lovely attendant at breakfast who made our coffee as soon as we arrived.
Disliked: We had a deluxe room which was enormous with an equally enormous bathroom; also, there was a small room that had a coffee maker and coffee/tea supplies; We would like to recommend that the hotel upgrade the comfort of the room by adding: a soup dish in the shower, a towel rack, tissues, a large trash can, and some USB ports by the bed; While we had a hot pot,, the instant coffee was not replenished and so having coffee facilities was useless; The hotel restaurant could not supply us with instant coffee when we asked; The room needs some real glass glasses and some small plates; The plastic cups that were supplied were so flimsy that they collapsed in our hands; Breakfast was fine, limited, but fine; Breakfast hours didn't start until 8 which was too late for us as we had a tour scheduled; The breakfast attendant let us start breakfast before 8 so that we could get to our tour and we appreciated that;Housekeeping in the hallways leading to the rooms seemed nonexistent
