Liked: The staff/owners were very helpful with directions into the city and with where to park around the hotel. Great breakfast set us up for the day. Lovely room, clean and very quiet. Welcoming and helpful staff/owners. Would book again if visiting in future.

Long weekend stay in the...

Liked: Hosts were super nice, friendly and accommodating. Loved home made breakfast every day, fresh and delicious. Neighbourhood is quiet and not too far from the city. The whole stay felt like home stay with family and friends rather than just a stay. Loved the whole experience and ambience.
Disliked: Everything was perfect!

Perfect base for a few...

Liked: Extremely friendly owner made the atmosphere during breakfast amazing and the poached eggs were some of the best we ever had. Perfectly located for a few days in Edinburgh, everything is close by with the busses or even on foot.
Disliked: Nothing

Lovely staff, great hotel

Liked: Staff were so lovely and welcoming. Comfy bed and clean, hot shower with good pressure, nicely decorated room with tea/coffee supplies and toiletries provided. Good wifi. Great location: in a safe area with buses close by or a 30ish minute walk into town. Very generous and tasty breakfast (hot options made to order plus continental breakfast bar with pastries/cakes, yoghurt, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. Recommended.
Disliked: Steep stairs to upper levels - but we had been made aware of this.

Scottish hospitality!

Liked: the staff were extremely warm and welcoming and kind. the view was lovely and the breakfast was amazing.
Disliked: the parking situation was a little tedious. granted if i had a do over i wouldn't have hired a car in edinburgh at all! you do not need a car there. we did find free parking around the corner luckily.
