This hotel is excellent value...

Liked: The staff were incredibly amazing. I always felt like my needs were taken care of. Also, the breakfast was delicious, and the property is incredibly close to public transportation. I also liked that it’s very quiet.
Disliked: It was very hot in Edinburgh when I stayed there. My room was on the third floor, and the temperature in the room exceeded 30°C for several days. It was quite unbearable to return to the room on those days.

Liked: This place is absolutely magnificent , had an absolute dream for 4 days , Kevin and his family were incredible hosts , nothing was a problem and so helpful any time of the day , the breakfast that was served was absolutely spot on , everything fresh and hot as it reached the table , it certainly wasn’t my last visit here , thank you all so much

Liked: Comfortable room, very pleasant staff and lovely vegetarian breakfast in a nice dining room.

Brilliant with a Capital B....

Liked: Amazing home cooked breakfast. Kevin was the consumate host. The beds were so comfortable and location was perfect.
Disliked: The stairs with a heavy bag was a challenge but Kevin offered to help. No real issue when you consider all the other positives and there are ground floor apartments we could have chosen

Liked: The service was phenomenal, the room extremely cozy, the breakfast was delicious! The best place we stayed during our vacation. The only bad part was that due to our tight schedule, we only stayed one night. It felt like being home, the level of hospitality was great!

A beautifully located hotel that...

Liked: I absolutely loved my stay here! The property is excellent and in a fantastic location, making it so easy to explore. It has the charm of an old Scottish home, with plenty of character, yet still feels modern and comfortable. The stairs between floors added to the charm for me—it gave the place a unique and special feel rather than being a standard hotel. A perfect balance of history and comfort. Highly recommend!
Disliked: Nothing. It met my selections.
