Uncomfortable due to bugs very...

Good on a budget but...

Liked: Well located close to the train station, photos look better than the rooms but the staff was nice and welcoming even for a late night arrival.
Disliked: A modest place that can need some refreshing, like changing the old stained carpets and old faucets in the water room. Heard leaking water at night and the bathroom smelled smoking 🚬, our first given room was not cleaned after the previous customer so we had it changed, and they couldn't get us a room with separate single beds.

Bad experience! Room weren’t clean...

Liked: The room and bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned and the worst was that the beds were full of bed bugs. My son got more than 50 bites in a night. Moreover there was noisy room neighbours that walked on the top and make a lot of noise through the night! We’ve been coming to the Cecil hotel for years but this was our last time! Horrible experience despite the night man niceness.

Very poor

Disliked: Hotel by it self in such a good location in town. Building from outside is beautiful, but room we stayed was so stinky of cigarette smoke. I could not sleep well because of such a strong smell. The carpet was clean but very old and I didn’t feel comfortable to take my shoes off. Bathroom old and mouldy. There wasn’t soap in the room to wash hands. Breakfast…. I never came across with such a poor choice: receptionist brought as croissants and white bread with butter and jam. The table covers torn and sticky.

Disliked: Didn’t like anything. It was a smelly room and the beds were dirty and uncomfortable. The bed linen and duvet were not washed. It looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all. Too bad would never stay here

Disappointing.

Liked: The hotel is situated in a very nice area!
Disliked: Staff was kind but the hotel was a complete disappointment. There was mold on the bathroom walls and shower curtain. Disgusting and unhealthy! beds were uncomfortable. We only stayed for one night, otherwise I’d go somewhere else.
