Disappointing and I would not...

Liked: Good location close to Fishermen's Wharf.
Disliked: Room was sold as suitable to sleep 5 in an extra large bed and a large sofa bed. On arrival there was only bedding for 4 max (4 pillows) and beds were a queen (could only fit 2 sensibly) and a very old and lumpy sofa bed. There were also only 3 towels and no coffe/tea making facilities. After several requests and extended exchanges with reception we managed to get another 6 pillows, so at least everyone had 2 pillows, along with a couple more towels and with much grumpiness from the porter he finally provided a coffee machine and a kettle. However, three terrible nights sleep was had on the sofa bed, with one of the five of us having to sleep on the floor. The room was not suitable for five as advertised, and a very disappointing experience.

Almost perfect

Liked: Everything is perfect except for the single ply window that let the noise from the street get in the room to easily. Otherwise perfect hotel for a family trip…

Unbeatable location; super friendly staff!

Liked: Location is definitely the best feature about the hotel. 10 mins walk from the pier where oyu have shops, restaurants etc. And from where you take yiur boat to Alcatraz. Close to Lombard street and if you walk up Colombus you will find great restaurants as well. Staff really nice and helpful. Room comfy enough for 4 people. You have some nice games (giant jenga) and pool tables in the lobby.
Disliked: Parking is super expensive but we knew about it in advance. It is still shocking when you are actually there that you need to pay usd 72 a night. Staff was nice enough to cut us a deal an let us pay usd 52 a night. Which however makes me doubt what is the real parking cost per night...ice machine did not work in our floor so had to go to another floor to get ice.
