Refurbished in February 2021 this hotel offers simple yet functional bed and breakfast rooms next to the Zwarte Huis in Bruges city center. Cavalier is 820 feet from the Grote Markt and the Belfort. All of the rooms at Cavalier have cable TV and a work desk. Guests can enjoy a breakfast every morning in the breakfast room which features rustic décor with a Grecian influence. Cavalier Hotel is a 20-minute walk from Brugge Central Station. The Groeninge Museum is a 10-minute walk away. De Halve Maan Brewery and the Beguinage are just over a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel provides a discount card for local attractions museum and bicycle rental. A packed lunch service is available for guests who wish to explore the local area. I would not recommend this...

Disliked: It was not really clean. There were ants in my hotel room. The staff asked me one day before my arrival at which time I will be there. I told them about 3pm. There was nobody there and I couldn‘t get into the room before 6pm. It was very disappointing!

Liked: Great location, great value. Rooms are comfortable.
Disliked: Staff on welcome not very friendly. Could do with modernisation.

Liked: Convenient location in the historic district, room of appropriate size.
Disliked: It would be good to add a small fridge and a kettle to the room.

Recommend

Liked: Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! Right in the city center, it’s steps from shops, restaurants, and the main square. All key sights are within walking distance, and waking up to nightingales singing was a lovely touch. The room was clean, cozy, and perfect. Highly recommend for an amazing city experience!

Waste of Money and Loud...

Liked: Only Location, except everything is worst
Disliked: Towels were dirty and old ( See attached pictures). Staff was not helpful at all.Doors are very old and you need skill and strength to open and close. At Wednesday night you cannot sleep in this hotel. In the neibouring bar there is loud noise until 3 AM(attaching photos as well). The bed and pillows are not comfortable. No air conditioner and you have an old sound making fan.Better to find another hotel paying a little bit extra money else you will find yourself swindle. The person who will be at reception is not helpful at all, they don't accept card for city tax and you need to bring cash if not he will tell my owner won't allow and you can't stay. You need to claim up with small stairs. Any sound from another room or outside bar
