Superb

Looks cool, but disappointing

Liked: The hotel is ideally placed to explore Barcelona and is very cool - the decor, the coffee shop etc
Disliked: During our visit (3 days over a weekend) the rooftop bar and bar were shut two full days for private events so no way to access the areas which had made us decide to stay there! The sauna/japanese bath etc are to be paid for and are expensive - which is even harder to swallow when two thirds of the public spaces are inaccessible. The room is very very small. The hotel offered us a free breakfast on the last day when my partner complained about the access to the rooftop bar - but clearly they get money from running events after selling the image of a hotel with a bar/rooftop to paying guests...!

Liked: Great hotel in excellent location. Staff were all very helpful. Large rooms for Barcelona and nice and quiet.
Disliked: Coffee in the room would have been nice but certainly not a big issue.

Facilities and staff were great

Liked: The rooms were clean and well equipped. Staff were lovely, and the cafe and Libertine bar/restaurant were both very nice. I was able to check out slightly later at no extra charge, which was fantastic.
Disliked: Only downside is I had difficulty sleeping due to quite a hard mattress!
