Very good location.

Liked: Location, Location, Location!! You can´t beat Carlton!! This is an old first class hotel. Not still there but not far away.
Disliked: One night receptionist was absolutely awful, next night a very pleasant young lady!

Great Location but issues with...

Liked: Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Lack of WiFi. When I raised the issue, they acknowledged there was a problem with WiFi in this room and couldn't move us. Disappointing in this day and age.

Surprised that this is not...

Liked: Location: in Lille, nothing can beat Carlton .!!Interior of room was pleasant . View superb.
Disliked: Breakfast very expensive and not very good!!One night porter claimed he could not serve anything from the bar that was unlocked a few meters away.Door to toilet squeeze.

Great location, disappointing hotel.

Liked: The breakfast was good. A really good range of items to choose from with a great location looking out over the main square.
Disliked: The hotel is just very tired. The room was quite shaby with poor paintwork (cracked sink in the bathroom) and what looked like missing furniture. For quite a high price, we were expecting a lot more especially as it's rates itself 4 stars.

Love in Lille

Liked: Luxurious and comfortable hotel, perfect for a stay in delightful Lille. We were upgraded for our first night to a superb suite with views over the Opera Hall. Lille is very pretty at night. We would recommend highly this lovely hotel. The View Bar makes fantastic cocktails and has fab views over the city.
Disliked: Everything was great

Disappointing

Liked: Not much
Disliked: When we checked in, an older men at the reception was quite condescending when he noticed we booked via booking.The room was worn, paint cracked, did not feel clean.Toiletries are not at the level expected… shower, shampoo, hand wash all together.We went to the bat, we had to wait over 35 min to finally have our drinks.
