My friend and I had...

Liked: The single room had plenty of space and was very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with friendly service.
Disliked: One of the male receptionists could have been a bit more helpful. Generally very good though.

Great value for money in...

Liked: Very welcoming staff, provided loads of information about the area and what to see and do. The location is great, so close to public transport and the canal for cruising. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast really nice.

Very useful hotel

Liked: The staff were incredibly helpful and very polite whether front desk, at breakfast or tea. The room was spotless and cleaned each morning quickly. The bathroom was far better than most equivalent hotels in layout, facilities and size. The hotel was well situated for sight-seeing -whether walking up into the centre of old Vienna or taking public transport - trams, underground railway or taxis - rank just by hotel. Also some good restaurants in easy walking distance and away from tourist gast food purveyors ..
Disliked: The hotel is set back but on a very busy throughfare with many emergency vehicles so it is important to keep windows and door to balcony closed at night if you want to sleep...

Exceptional

Liked: Such a lovely small hotel just beside the Danube river, in walk distance to city center. Cozy room, quite small, but just enough for 2 people and nicer than in pictures. We really appreciated terasse - sitting and relaxing with morning coffee... real vacation feeling :-) All the staff members were very kind and helpsom and all the hotel was perfectly clean.

Liked: Nice little hotel in a great location!Quiet rooms, but very convenient for public transport and the sights.Superb Continental breakfasts.Comfortable bed.
Disliked: No bar and no lunch or dinner, but not really a problem as there are loads of eating places nearby.

Great location but don’t stay...

Liked: Great location, decent breakfast, staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Disliked: We were on the 1st floor with no net or modesty curtain so once you open the curtains everyone on the pavement could see into the bedroom. It was noisy with police and ambulance sirens in the night as right next to a busy road
