Beyond Expectations
Liked: This was my second stay at the hotel café Royal it is beyond exceptional. The attention to detail is impeccable. Best Spa in London. Only stayed for 24 hours but it felt like a longer break.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

A good five star experience
Liked: The stay was great, the room is big enough and the location is very convenient too.
Disliked: There was a strange odor coming from ac during the night, but the engineering fixed it right up. The soundproofing of the windows needs work(I can hear traffic and people shouting from outside)

Beautiful hotel with an excellent...
Liked: Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. We loved our room, and the service was kind and attentive.We also used the spa, which was a calming and relaxing experience. The team went above and beyond to accommodate the treatment we wanted (Watsu) on our preferred date, and even surprised us with a plate of chocolate-covered strawberries for my partner’s birthday — such a thoughtful touch.
Disliked: The service at breakfast was confusing. I knew breakfast wasn’t included in our room rate, but when we arrived in the morning just to get coffee, the hostess insisted that it was. We only wanted coffee and a croissant, and that’s what we ordered — but we were charged for a full breakfast for both of us.I also don’t understand the growing trend in some hotels of adding a service charge to the final bill without asking. This is a five-star luxury hotel, so yes — the service was excellent, as expected. But I believe the room rate should include that.Adding a charge and putting guests in the uncomfortable position of having to ask for its removal feels awkward and unnecessary. I’m sure many guests don’t speak up simply out of discomfort. I did ask for it to be removed — not because the service was poor, but as a matter of principle. I expect service to be included in a luxury stay.
