Liked: Clean rooms, well stocked with drinking water coffee and tea, helpful staff at doors, umbrellas always at hand, welcoming and well trained staff at bar.
Disliked: rooms looking at sidestreets at office blocks, poorly informed concierge,in house restaurent not to be recommended, very unprofessional front office staff, messed up billing.

World-class

Liked: The concierge was super-helpful all the way through! From reserving us a table at the exclusive French Brasserie Zédel at short notice (they advised no space for 4 months!), warm welcoming reception and very smooth departure - this is what world-class service looks like!
Disliked: Nothing really! I travel around the world all the time (more than 1M airmiles to date) and there was not a thing wrong - every detail perfect and zero room for improvement. This is perfection in hotelerie hospitality!

Liked: Great location, beautifully appointed hotel with excellent facilities, staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Lighting in the bathroom could have been better, it was too dark to apply makeup.

Exceptional

Liked: Our room had a wonderful view of Piccadilly Circus without hearing any of the street noise! The soundproofing in the hotel is excellent; the location is perfect for walking to West End theaters (the main reason for our trip). Lots of great places to eat close by. We had a fantastic breakfast every morning at the hotel with excellent service. Arturo went out of his way each time we visited to make sure we were taken care of - whether we were seated in his section or not! The hotel is beautiful and very secure. The gentleman at the doors were always kind and helpful, especially when we needed to be pointed in the right direction to where we were headed. Most nights we were out late at the theatre, and having an excellent late night menu for a late dinner in our room was perfect for us. All of the room service staff were wonderful. Everyone we spoke with at the front desk was kind and attentive and helpful. Overall - it was a wonderful 10 days in a lovely hotel in London!
