Hotel Burdigala Bordeaux, Bordeaux

Modern, clean and friendly hotel...

Liked: Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Great design and exceptionally clean.
Disliked: The toilet in the room was like an echo chamber - not the best if you are a new couple. The location is a touch far - so you have to estimate a 10+ minute walk to anywhere you want to go. The menu at the restaurant was strange.

Comfortable stay at the heart...

Liked: Stylish and new furnished hotel,located walking distance to the center.The hotel was easy to reach by car.Staff was very friendly,special thanks to Ottavio who made very good reccomendations about what to eat where to see;)Rooms were feeling like home

Exceptional

Liked: Very nice, laid back hotel that is very walkable to central Bordeaux. Fantastic staff, especially the concierge who made great dinner reservations and recommended a very good wine tour for us. Breakfast buffet is substantial and the staff do a great job. Very well appointed room with comfortable bed, a great shower, etc. Highly recommended hotel in Bordeaux.

Liked: This beautiful hotel is in a prime location in the heart of the city center, easily accessible to restaurants and sights. The hotel staff members were pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: We did not sleep well on the first night because the room was hot even with adjusting the thermostat. We reported it to the front desk staff and were told the whole hotel was still on heater but they were able to fix our room temperature to a more comfortable level. Our friends in the adjoining room had the same problem and when they reported it to the front desk, they were told no adjustments can be made. So, they did not sleep well and had to open the windows to let the cool breeze in. Unfortunately, the street noise kept them awake too.
