Hotel Burdigala Bordeaux

Pretty and friendly but hot!

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge was fantastic.
Disliked: The air conditioning did not work at night and it was hot and stuffy.

Liked: Very comfortable and modern hotel. Location is great, just a few minutes from the city centre.
Disliked: Breakfast selection was quite limited, and every morning several food items were already gone, even when we arrived as early as 9 a.m.

Not quite a 5 star...

Liked: The interior and design of the whole hotel is hip and chic!! Although the rooms are on the small side (considering I have chosen the duplex suite). Vincent and Mathilde were standouts and very hospitable!
Disliked: The hotel didnt feel like a 5 star hotel to me in terms of service. The staff size seemed insufficient for the hotel.

Disliked: Air conditioning did not work - fairly basic requirement if staying in a 5 star hotel (we were given a branded bag by way of compensation...)Breakfast is not worth the price (I think 29 EUR). Save your money and walk to one of the many nearby cafes

Liked: Location excellent .walk out to all restaurants nothing too far away. Parking also available. Super market next door.
Disliked: We arrived on Sunday and the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. Bar facilities are available. Alot of places are closed on these days
