Hotel Burbank

I was going to give this hotel a 5 and very positive rating were it not for our last night there, where everything fell apart. At 10.30 at night we thought someone was trying to get into our room and found out it was the hotel staff! It would have been much simpler if someone had the brains to call us. We then discovered that due to the fact that we had decided to stay an extra night we were supposed to check out and check in again but NO ONE TOLD US THAT. In fact, we were told at the front desk that it was all taken care of. To make matters worse, they tried to get into our room, no phone call, THEN they called and told us we needed to get dressed and go downstairs (it was then 10.40pm). We refused and in the end the manager came to our room - couldn't he have done that at first? After much shouting, on our part, we resolved the issue at 11pm at night. What could have been simple, was made complicated by thoughtless employees and the poor manager, who was in fact quite nice, got yelled at (but it is his job) and we left the hotel with a bad taste in our mouth and will not stay there again, nor suggest that anyone else does. Do not blame your guests for something your employees have overlooked, especially late at night!

Pleasant stay, would book again.

Liked: Very nice looking, not crowded, fast check in.
Disliked: The hallway and room I stayed in both had very strong musty smell, wasn’t pleasant at all, very noticeable.
