Lovely area of Paris, refurbished...

Liked: Location, newly refurbished room. Very comfortable.
Disliked: No one on reception on arrival. The front was obscured by building vans and extensive work being undertaken. Notice of this was only given short notice so we could not cancel. No breakfast due to the work.However the price was reduced because of this and the refurbished room was lovely. We would stay again a a lively and interesting area.

Disliked: I had a series of problems with this booking and the quality was not as described. This hotel had not indicated that renovations were being undertaken - significant renovations. This meant no breakfast, bar/ lounge and that scaffolding covered our balcony. There is also a lack of airconditioning and the elevator is the smallest I have ever come across. We actually pre-paid for breakfast but were told this was unavailable only when we arrived.The hotel has indicated they did not charge us for breakfast but this has not been reflected in an adjustment of our pre-payment through Booking.com (paid in May - 3 months ago). The hotel claim we need to seek this reimbirsement from Booking.com. That interaction is seeking reimbursement has also been poor with Booking.com keep suggesting we need to converse with the property and the hotel saying again we need reimbursement from booking. com. Nobody seems to want to take ownership of the issue and compensate us for what has been a very unsatisfactory experience. Be warned as the renovations would not be complete and breakfast is still being offered at a charge.

Fantastic costumer service

Liked: I stayed at this hotel for one night in the last weekend of June 2025. The location is great (few minute walk from various Metro stations and 20-35 min walk to iconic tourist sites). Also many cute cafés nearby and some fruit shops and supermarket.The room I had was recently renovated; it was beautiful in decoration, clean, the shower was nice, and the A/C worked great (it was 34 Celsius outside). They were still working on renovating the hotel (other floors than the one I was staying at). For this reason some places (like the bar) weren’t ready to be used, but for me that was not a problem at all.I would like to give a specific compliment to the quality customer service of the reception staff (younger man and the woman at the desk). They were both very accommodating, kind and helpful. I was in need of a quite place to have an important online meeting for 2 hours - many hours after I had already checked out - and the lady was so kind to give me a room for 2 hours just for my online meeting. I was surprised by this kindness. Highly recommend this hotel. Will for sure come back here.
Disliked: Really no negatives. The only tiny detail would be that the shower could use a place to put shampoo.

Disappointing

Liked: Beds were incredibly comfortable and the AC worked amazing. Views from the room.
Disliked: A lot of construction with almost everything except the room unavailable. Internet was down and they provided no estimate when it was going to be back up - was around 24 hours and I ended up checking out so unsure if it ever came back up. Not really close to a lot of the main metro lines. Easily a 10 minute walk.
