Amazing location, staff and bed!
Liked: Beautiful design, fun and quirky
Disliked: It was under construction so i didn’t get to see it in its full glory :/

Nice stay near the heart...
Liked: Nice and quiet surroundings. There are renovations going on. That did not disturb us, though. Very nice room and superb French balcony.
Disliked: The safe was not in use

Superb
Liked: The accommodation was perfect. The staff at the reception were very kind and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. Although the hotel was under renovation, we didn’t notice it at all – everything was peaceful and undisturbed.

Good
Liked: Amazing location close to the metro and very walkable. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: Aircon did not work and was only provided with a fan which was not very effective during summer in Paris. Rooms were also very small and bathroom amenities such as shower caps were not provided.

Excellent quaint hotel in a...
Liked: Hotel staff was excellent and the room was nicely decorated and furnished. The location was superb with plenty of restaurants and markets as well as two Metro lines nearby. It was a great one week stay in Paris for us.
Disliked: One time the hot water went off but was quickly repaired. There was understandable refurbishment and construction at the hotel. But we still enjoyed our stay.

Underwhelming but served it’s purpose
Liked: The rooms themselves were nicely decorated.
Disliked: The hotel had substantial building works going on. The lobby was closed and covered in dust sheets, there were open holes in the walls of the stair case leading to scaffolding, bags of concrete on the stars etc. We had had some prior communication that they had works going on but did not expect it to be at this level. We booked 3 x Spacy rooms (fits 3) and on arrival were told they weren’t all available and instead given 1 Spacy x room (fits 3), 2 x doubles (fits 2) and 2 x Singles (fits 1)The air con in the doubles wasn’t working. The keys to the two singles weren’t working - the receptionist did fix this. We were only staying one night so the hotel served it purpose but it was a shame as this was a celebration trip and we had booked the hotel because of how nice it looked online. We had also booked in January so potentially before the building works had started.

Our Stay at Brittany Hotel...

Disliked: Unfortunately, our vacation was significantly impacted by our choice of accommodation at Brittany Hotel. What was meant to be a relaxing family trip turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable stay.Upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that the hotel was undergoing full-scale renovation. The entire property—including the lobby, staircase, and corridors—was covered in construction materials, with heavy dust and an unsafe environment throughout. I have video footage clearly showing the extent of the renovation.We were traveling with our one-year-old child, so safety was absolutely crucial. However, the conditions were far from acceptable. The hotel’s main entrance was blocked, and we were directed to enter through a small bar door, where a single table served as the "reception desk."From the first night, the air conditioning in our room was not working. Initially, one staff member told us it would be rebooted, while another later informed us that fixing the AC wasn’t possible due to ongoing construction. This contradictory information created unnecessary confusion and false hope. The room, while small as expected, was unbearably hot. We requested to move to another hotel or be offered an alternative solution. A staff member promised to explore options with nearby affiliated properties—but no follow-up occurred unless we initiated it. That same person also mentioned the possibility of waiving the final night as compensation, yet that promise was never honored.Ultimately, we had no choice but to remain, as finding last-minute accommodations in peak season Paris with a baby and elderly family member was not realistic. We were never offered any form of discount or resolution. Eventually, a fan was provided halfway through the stay, but it was largely unhelpful. We couldn’t leave it running when we were out of the room, and using it while inside was risky with a small child.The breakfast experience was inconsistent and disappointing.

Very disappointing
Liked: The room was well decorated.
Disliked: The renovations really ruined our stay. Air conditioning wasn’t working in the room which we were told was due to the renovations, the bar was closed due to renovations and we woke up to ants all over the floor on the first morning. The only redeeming aspect was the staff as they sorted the ant issue by lunch. The first 4 floors were literally a building site which we had to carry our cases through as they didn’t fit in the lift. We were staying in Paris for our honeymoon and felt really let down as we were hoping for something special. We unsuccessfully tried to get a partial refund as not having basics like AC and the bar, which were listed as features when we originally booked was a real let down.
