Great hotel with great location

Liked: What you would expect from Marriott luxury collection, no surprises and fantastic as usual. The location is excellent, just a walking distance from the old city. Service is great and rooms are spacious and clean.

Disliked: Lack of loungers by the pool! Could do with a few more.

Liked: staff were great. buffet and breakfast was wonderful. location can't beat it. cafe food was excellent - we ate there everyday. perfect place as we realized we would not have liked staying in the city itself and were so grateful we chose this hotel. very memorable and made for the perfect stay.
Disliked: the room was fabulous and they upgraded us as it was our 40th wedding anniversary. the room was spacious and had all the basics and some extras, it just wasn't that updated in terms of modern conveniences, but it was a classic charm that we appreciate. not really a downside that we didn't like but

Disliked: Due to airline issues we missed our first night stay, although they would t consider any sort of refund (which I do understand) we asked for a breakfast discount or just thrown in , they wouldn't consider it either !
