Hotel Breakwater South Beach

Excellent value

Liked: Great location across from the beach with complimentary beach towels and chairs. Excellent breakfast included in price. Comfy beds and very clean room.
Disliked: Everything was great!

It was ok.

Liked: It is right on ocean ave where all of the night life and great restaurants are and across the street from the beach.
Disliked: Our room smelled of mold and murky there was mold on the air vent. We had a partial view of the beach.

Not worth what I paid...

Liked: It’s a good location, has a nice restaurant, has also a pool
Disliked: I paid for a room with a sea view, but nothing, I go the room right in the back, and also has a lot of noise at night. The pool in the description says it’s on the roof, but again, is on a side of the hotel and pretty small

Liked: I did like the convenience of being right off of ocean because of all the bars, lots of places to eat lots of music and vibes. The beach is a decent walk from the hotel but it’s really not that bad. Room was home looking didn’t give off a whole hotel vibe, which was really nice
Disliked: I didn’t really care for having to walk from the hotel lobby through an entire restaurant and an ice cream shop to get up to my room, but I also didn’t mind it. It was nice to see a little ice cream shop when I got out of my room in the morning. We had water pouring through a light fixture called down to office. Never heard anything back to see if any of our stuff got wet or anything.
