Love Hotel Bowmann

Liked: The decor was marvelous. The spa wonderful. My daughter loved the pool and I liked the jacuzzi. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. The concierge provided great restaurant recommendations. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Great for me as well because I must eat Gluten Free. Great location for easy access to trains. Loved all the amenities. The bed, pillows and comforter were so comfortable. Very quiet.
Disliked: You can not see the Eiffel Tower from the hotel unless you reserve a specific hotel room.

Disappointing, given the price.

Liked: Overall, the staff were friendly, particularly the evening receptionist from Denmark who assisted me with the room move. He was apologetic.
Disliked: Disappointing stay, after arrival on the first evening, I noticed that there were a large amount of Ants within the carpet rug under the bed. I informed reception, who said they would send housekeeping to the room. Housekeeping attended whilst I was out, they told the reception there was not a problem...When I went back to the room, the ants were still there, embedded within the carpet rug. I went back to reception, they moved me to an alternative room and were very apologetic.. At checkout, The hotel manager provided me with his business card, but did not offer any form of discount or financial apology for the issue with the ants in the room. This was not what I expected when paying over 800 EUR per night.

Superb

Liked: Reasonable-sized and comfortable room, well climatized, well isolated from street noise. Polite and helpful staff, good concierge service, good location.
Disliked: All was pretty much in order, value for money is always an open question. Prices for hotel rooms in Paris in season are eye-watering high, one just has to accept this and this hotel delivers to standard.

Overpriced. Not what you would...

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Definitely not a 5* hotel. My bathroom robe had a big hole. The shower gel provided in the bathroom was empty.Overpriced
