Might stay again due to...
Liked: Breakfast was fine but portion size less than expected. Room very nice and huge but maintenance on drapes, balcony door could be better.
Disliked: Parking situation is sad, almost like a war on cars. Valet only access to car is a real pain, even though the staff were as gracious and helpful as they could be. Good people!

Liked: This is a beautiful hotel in the perfect location within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Boulder. The hotel itself has exceptional food in both of their restaurants. We only wish we could?ve stayed one more night : )

Liked: Location location location
Disliked: A familiar casualty of Covid. This hotel has some potential but they are having to hire Gen Z people who have ZERO public relations skills

Liked: Our room was really spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. There were fresh flowers in a vase on a little table between two chairs. That was a nice touch. Walk to everything in downtown Boulder.

Beautiful historic building in an...
Liked: breakfast was good, ambiance was great. Really loved the old-timey feel of the entire building. The experience of being in a historical building like this really set the mood for the entire trip. Old elevators are charming and room was comfy!Location was excellent and the main reason for choosing. Great central location to explore downtown Boulder.
Disliked: Parking should be communicate much more. When I asked the staff at the front desk about suggestions for parking in the neighborhood I was scoffed at and told to just valet. I said I would love to not pay for valet every day (3 nights) I was here if i didn't have to and was replied with, " I don't understand why you don't just valet, but good luck finding parking yourself." The conversation went on for a bit but you get the idea. I think there's a million ways to navigate this conversation in a positive way and this staff member just failed completely with customer service. Curiosity to save a 100 dollars in parking shouldn't make the customer feel cheap or below the hotel.I don't mind the additional and seemingly mandatory expense of valet for my car if its communicated up front that valet is a must and parking is not really an option in the area. I don't appreciate the condescending tone I was given asking for other options. Restaurants were understaffed as well and took a very long time for service. Though I understand we are coming out of the pandemic and service jobs are difficult with hiring I didnt mind this as much and am more than happy to be patient in a restaurant setting. Food service staff was pleasant.
