Very good
Liked: The bed was very comfy, the fire place gave a very romantic atmosphere, beautiful location, very clean, kind staffs, valet gentlemen was super gentle..
Disliked: we had to wait for at least 15 minutes every time we want to use the elevator, people were using the stairs most of the time,.. We were there for St-Valentine, we ordered the special dinner for the occasion that the hotel offered, the appetizers were not good at all (shrimps salade, the shrimps were almost raw and the smell was awful, it seemed to me they took them from the frozen bag of any store like IGA and put them all the way in the salade), the main dishes were just fine..not impressed with the food.

For a 5 star hotel,...
Liked: The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Fireplace in the Deluxe rooms is a nice touch. Staff was courteous and helpful.
Disliked: I chose this hotel to celebrate Valentine's Day as well as my boyfriend's birthday. I asked the hotel to add some balloons to the room as an amenity. When we arrived, check-in was very simple and quick. Once we got into our room my boyfriend started to take a look around to check out our room and he went in the bathroom and noticed some stains that looked like someone could have been in the bathroom recently. I went in to check and then noticed that there was tissue with makeup on it and a tag from clothing left in the garbage. This immediately made us nervous as we assumed that someone had been in the room before us. This seemed like a pretty big oversight, especially during a pandemic.We called reception and wanted someone to come and take a look at the room so that it wouldn't seem like we were exaggerating, but we were told that the staff had to wait 3 hours between guests departing, which confused us more and made us wonder who had cleaned our room and when. They apologized and offered to upgrade us to a Deluxe room. We waited a while for someone to bring us the new keys and the room we moved to was smaller than our Classic and had some pretty noticeable carpet stains. We weren't offered anything else and we were not checked on. Additionally, there is construction happening directly in front of the hotel and so at 7 am we were woken up with because of the noise. This is obviously, completely out of the control of the hotel, but it does add to the overall experience.As a former travel agent who sold 4 and 5 star hotels, it was definitely not up to 5 star standards. It was a special day as I was there to treat my partner to a relaxing stay, but instead it felt like we were inspecting the room to make sure that it was clean. The upgrade felt like a downgrade. We were not wowed in any way and what was supposed to be a celebration ended up being more stressful than it should have been, especially when we are all trying to forget the pandemic.

Liked: Rooms were really beautiful, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: We had specifically asked to be placed in a quiet room. But a few hours after we checked in and were getting ready to sleep, our next door neighbours were very loud and we could hear everything - as if they were in the room. We discovered that this was because our room could be a connected room - and the door was very thin and did not provide for adequate sound barrier. I had to find ear plugs to get a good night rest.
