A pleasant stay

Liked: Location and very friendly and helpful staff
Disliked: Breakfast very exspencive

Disappointed

Liked: Beds were comfortable Bit of a dour place
Disliked: Staff, when I came to check out we had to pay for our breakfast € 60 lady on the desk took the payment in Uk sterling which showed in my account as paid, then she told me she should have taken it in EURO , we were on our way to watch qualifying at the formula e which was in 30 mins and would take us around 20 mins to walk,but she insisted that she had to refund me and take the payment in euros, which I refused as the payment was showing paid , I told her when the payment was refunded I would then pay in euros but she said no and I couldn’t leave the hotel until I had paid in euros, I was traveling with my grandson and I didn’t want him to miss the racing so I paid in euros and had to hope that they would refund me back , which did happen, the amount of stress this caused on what should have been a happy day was unbelievable, all I can think is it was going to cost them a couple of euros to sort it at the bank ? a small price to pay for there own error and good will, because we were late we had to take a taxi to the track €20 so there mistake cost me . Very very disappointed won’t be travelling there again

Good pet friendly hotel

Liked: We came to Berlin for 1 night with a dog and by car. If you’re looking for a nice pet friendly hotel with big parking and outside green zone, this is a good option. Breakfast was a traditional European from fresh ingredients. A comfortable big bed. Clean room. Friendly staff that responds quickly 24/7.
Disliked: It was a bit stuffy in the room. So if the weather is hot it may not be 100% comfortable to sleep.

Great location, free parking, but...

Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the metro, in the lovely Tempelhof district. Ideal if you're traveling by car — you can avoid driving into the city center, and there’s free hotel parking.Breakfast is basic but tasty. Though, the scrambled eggs seemed worse than during our stay last year.Rooms are spacious — you won’t feel cramped. There’s a mini-fridge, wardrobe, and seating area.
Disliked: Bathrooms really need renovation. Fixtures are inconvenient, there aren’t enough shelves or hooks, and ventilation is poor. More importantly, the shower tray leaks — again, there was a puddle behind it after every shower.Rooms use a traditional key, not a keycard. Makes me wonder how safe that is in case of an emergency (fire, etc.).

Liked: - Friendly staff- Clean, big and bright room- Nice price- There is a huge park to run or ride a bike
Disliked: - The location is not so close to the city center, but it was our choice and there are a few metro stations 10 minutes by walk from the hotel, so nothing critical
