Liked: The hotel is located next to the train station. Opposite the hotel you can walk straight into the forest. The room was tidy. Restaurant and bar were nicely decorated and well cared for, service very kind. The mini-train that runs through the dining room above your head is a funny detail. Delicious vegetarian meal on the menu. When the weather is warm, you can sit outside on the terrace. Free parking. Visit recommendation: Burg Steinfurt, the Steinfurter Bagno forest park and Bentheim Castle.
Disliked: Windows of the bedroom unfortunately could not be opened, but there was a large fan.

Liked: Fantastic place, really helpful staff and just ideal as a stop over as it’s close to the motorway. We arrived a little late but the restaurant stayed open for us and they could not have been more helpful. Really quiet, despite the odd train shuffling gently past. Superb breakfast also.
